At least 1000 people were killed in Morocco’s deadliest earthquake since a century on Friday evening, which shook the nation from the Atlas Mountains to Marrakech.
In this regard, Council of European Muslims:
– Prays to the Almighty to bless the victims and wish a speedy recovery to all those effected.
– Expresses its deepest condolences to the victims’ families and the Moroccan people following the devastating earthquake.
– Calls on relief bodies and Islamic institutions in Europe to contribute to the relief aid to the stricken areas.
